New Post Format for Links
Hey, so I figured I should add a little note on how the posts are mostly gonna be from now on…
So most of my posts are links, and I’m using the link sharing method of tumblr. So you’ll notice that some of my posts have a star (★) next to them. These are posts that are links to outside articles or websites. In the past I would provide you with a description about it or whatever and then give you a link to it somewhere in the text. Now it’s really easy and straightforward. The links will always be the titles to the posts.
I hope you like the new style. Comments would be much appreciated if you have suggestions for what to change or add. I think I’ve finally reached a stable point for my new blog.
My blog has moved (again)
Those of you who are subscribed to my RSS feed may have noticed that many of my old posts were oddly resent across the feed. This is because I have imported my blogger blog into tumblr. I have decided to move my blog to tumblr.
I realized that most of my posts tend to be things along the lines of “hey checkout this video” or “this thing is really awesome.” The posts generally only have a few lines beyond the content I am trying to share. Posts like these are predominantly found in the micro-blogging world, rather then the general blog world. Tumblr is streamlined for this, and I personally think it has a much cleaner look then my old blogger blog.
Over the last 36 hours I have worked on modifying the layout and design of my blog. I’m fairly satisfied now, but will likely make some changes in the future. I’m definitely up for some comments and suggestions. If you are looking for my old blogger blog, it can be found at http://blogger.old.galbutnotgirl.com/.
For those of you who read my blog through the physical site, you will notice the site now looks completely different. For those of you who read my RSS feed, you shouldn’t notice any problems (however you should check out my awesome new blog!)
From now on you should be seeing posts here. I will do my best to post more often though if you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you would know I’m not the most successful at keeping that promise.
