Google Music needs a queue feature for playing music. This could be a formal feature, or it could be done informally via a DJ function similar to iTunes DJ (if you set it to auto add only 1 song, it essentially lets you queue songs to play later.
Google music also needs to add right-click functionality. This could be to easily queue a song as requested above as well as to do the things accessible currently from the drop down menu on the bottom right corner of the song.
Playlist folders would also be nice. This will make it easier to organize playlists when one has a bunch off them.
I like the simple “thumb up” vs. “thumb down” rating methodology a lot though.
The Google Music uploader saved all my playlists from iTunes for me. I’m curious to see if it’ll update them when I change them on my computer later on. Will update when I find out.
Apart from the collective complaints that it’s in flash and that the uploader is super slow, this seems similar to a dumbed down version of Lala. If it’ll be able to handle unicode song titles, that’ll be a major plus.
This is a super cool concept. Not sure how many people will use it at $2/hour when you can easily use the iTunes DJ feature.
If anyone (*cough* Tim *cough*) wants to try it out, let me know how this goes.
Update: Thanks Sylvia for noticing the spelling error.
Here’s a link to hear the actual version of Hold It Against Me by Britney Spears. Antonio I was right so this is part of that 25% when you’re WRONG!!!!! I’ll add a youtube link when I can find it…
Britney Spears - Hold It Against Me (Official FULL REAL Single 2011+Lyrics) (via MusicForYou02)
So apparently this is sped up a bit, but it’s still great!
Update: Antonio tells me this is the real deal.
Update 2: I was right and Antonio was wrong. That version (which you can no longer listen to as a matter of fact) was sped up. Listen to the actual one here.
Update 3: Antonio and I were discussing different videos. So technically we were both right… My Apologies Antonio :D
I haven’t checked it out yet, but I will next time I’m listening to music and getting work done!
